Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai is a distinguished educationist, institution builder, and visionary leader whose commitment to education has spanned more than five decades. As the Founder of the Pillai Group of Institutions, Dr. Pillai has established and nurtured numerous schools, colleges, and professional institutions that have empowered generations of students across diverse disciplines. His enduring vision has transformed these institutions into centres of excellence, recognized for quality education, innovation, and their positive contribution to society. He firmly believes that education is not merely the pursuit of knowledge but the foundation for creating solutions, opportunities, and responsible leaders. Dr. Priam Pillai is an internationally recognized engineer, educator, entrepreneur, and academic leader whose career bridges world-class research, technological innovation, and higher education. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of California, Berkeley and his Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology specializing in controls, instrumentation and robotics, where his research focused on advancing instrumentation and human-centered engineering. An accomplished entrepreneur, Dr. Pillai established Valectus Private Limited, translating cutting-edge research into innovative engineering solutions and fostering a culture of technology-driven problem solving. His contributions to engineering, research, and innovation have been recognized through numerous honours, including awards from the Maharashtra State Innovation Society, Anusadhan National Research Foundation, National Science Foundation (USA), and many more reflecting his commitment to advancing technological excellence and innovation. As Vice Chancellor, Dr. Pillai is committed to building a globally connected, research-intensive university that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and leadership.
